I do what is needed for this day to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. As we begin

today, I want you to think about the concept of a temple. What comes to mind when you think

about a temple? That's what we're going to be talking about in just a moment. The first

concept of a temple. You may have noticed the title for this episode is that you are God's

temple. We get that truth from 1st Corinthians chapter 3, verse number 16, and it's phrased

in the form of a question. The Apostle Paul, writing to the believers who were living in

a city called Corinth, says to them, do you not know that you are God's temple and that

God's spirit dwells in you? So friends, let me ask you, do you know that? Do you recognize

that just like God in the Old Testament day literally inhabited a temple in one respect?

He now inhabits you as his child who has believed in Jesus Christ. Now friends, let's unpack

that for a minute. That doesn't mean that everything that God is was squeezed into the

temple in the Old Testament. What it means is his presence came there in a manifest way

where the people who were there could see it, could sense it, could feel it. I mean, if

you go back and you read the account in chronicles and insamual about when God came into the temple

for the very first time after Solomon had built it. The glory of the Lord was present

there so powerfully that the priests could not remain in the temple. They had to leave
