Greetings, my friends. I'm so thankful that you're back with me for the

morning mindset. Each day, as we engage together in getting our minds aligned

with the truth of God, we are advancing the cause of Christ in this world

because His Word, little by little, transforms us into who we really are. And who

we really are is what we've been digging into in this current series in the

morning mindset, our identity in Jesus. As believers in Jesus, we're going to

dive into the fact that we are alive with Jesus in just a moment. But first, I

into Ephesians chapter two, verses four and five. Paul in the book of Ephesians

just unloads a dump truck worth of great theology, great truth about what has

really happened on our behalf through what God has done in Jesus. And he's

throwing this into the deep in here in Ephesians two, verses four and five. He

says, God being rich in mercy because of the great love with which He loved us.

Even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by

grace, you've been saved. Now, we're just going to go very methodically through

this passage because there is so much richness here that we need to understand.

Case starts out by telling us, God is rich in mercy. When you think about a rich

person, maybe you think back to that old cartoon of Scrooge McDuck laying on his

pile of money and throwing it up in the air into light, you know, the image is
