0:00.0	All right, good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study on Thursday nights. We're going through the Bible,
0:05.9	book by book, and chapter by chapter, verse by verse. And last week we got through chapter 51 in our trek through Isaiah.
0:17.2	And tonight we're going to pick it up in chapter 52, and Lord we're going to make it through to chapter 53 a most interesting chapter.
0:27.3	Some of you who read ahead to stay ahead, maybe already know about chapter 53 and why it is so interesting.
0:36.1	Again, looking forward to what the Lord has for us tonight. I know I say
0:40.1	that every week. I hope you don't tire me saying that every week. I'm going to continue to say
0:44.6	it every week anyway. But truly, though, looking forward to what the Lord has for us tonight. Spoiler
0:52.7	alert, it's all about Jesus. I mean, he is in every word of every
1:00.9	verse in both of these chapters and then some. And so anyway, just thought I'd let you know that we're going to talk about Jesus tonight.
1:13.7	So why don't we pray first, if you would please join with me.
1:20.9	Loving Father in heaven, we're just so grateful to you for this time that we have together on Thursday nights for our Bible study
1:33.5	as we assemble ourselves together in this, your church. We do so tonight, Lord, readily admitting and acknowledging that we're desperate for you.
1:50.9	Many of us are here tonight having just for some maybe been in the midst of intense spiritual warfare.
2:03.6	Some are just stressed and distressed and struggling under tremendous pressure.
2:16.6	And Lord, this Bible study on Thursday nights
2:21.7	represents for us just a sanctuary really a time where we can just put all
2:28.4	that aside and have you settle our hearts, focus our attention, and really speak into our hearts, Lord.
2:42.6	We are hungry for your word and really we hang on every word because your word is life.
2:49.3	It's the word of life. It's the bread of life. And so Lord,
2:56.1	we want to be fed by that bread. Lord, would you minister to us? Those that need encouragement,
3:06.3	would you encourage them, those who just need to hear you in that still small voice?
3:18.7	Lord, would you speak in that still small voice as only you can?
