called the sandwich generation when you're squeezed between caring for your kids and caring for your parents. But it's not always

parents. It can be a spouse. It can be adult children with special needs or even a close family

member who needs extra help. Whatever the scenario is, it's heavy, all consuming, and it's something I've been thinking a lot about

lately, mostly because I really connect with this personally right now in my life, with my mom,

But also, you know, it's just going on in the news lately, like with Bruce Willis and

his whole story. It brings up all of these thoughts on emotional balance and what we owe to

the people we love. And maybe the right word isn't oh. For me, it's

trying to find the space between feeling okay to choose myself, but also choosing to do the right

thing for the people that I love. That space of peace around all of it
