Hi, Dr. Laura.

I'm calling because I have a situation with a very dear friend of mine of of 34 years.

I was in a kind of a family crisis at the time

and a very close mutual friend.

What was a family crisis?

What does that mean? Because I'm sure I need to know what that means.

My mother had fallen and broken her hip and was in rehab and she also has Alzheimer's and they had given me 72 hours to find other nursing care like they were

discharging her and gave me like barely 72 hours to find a place.

So I was running around like a chicken without a head

looking at various facilities.

And during that time frame, another close friend in our friend group, her father passed.

And when I spoke to her, she gave me permission to tell the rest of our friends she was too emotional and so when I called

this friend that I've been friends with for 34 years and considered her my sister and I said, would you please do me a huge favor?

I am flat out stressed in an act.

Can you please handle sending flowers to the funeral or to the home however they plan on having do it and I will

Reimbursed you I trust your judgment. Can you please handle it? I just I can't I can't bite off another

thing right now and she said no I don't usually send flowers to funerals. I usually send food to the family. I said even better. I'll reimburse you whatever my portion is. Thank you so much if you can handle this.

And then she said, no, I think we should all do that. Thank you so much if you can handle this.
