I am 69. I have suffered with clinical depression since the mid-1980s. I married, have been on lots of different in a

depressants, have been hospitalized for suicide ideulations for a month.

Have seen psychiatrists off and on.

Ten years ago I found a psychiatrist who got a medication cocktail that seemed to be working until about 10 months ago.

And for the last 10 months, if I can get up and get showered and brush my teeth.

Have you called that doctor and told him or her that the cocktail's not working could they remedy it?

Unfortunately that doctor retired I did find a new one who's been very helpful and for the last six weeks there's a new

treatment that I have been receiving for the last six weeks. It has helped tremendously. My issue is motivation. I am able to get up.

Yesterday was a very productive day for me.

The first productive day I have had in probably three years.

I was up at 630. I took our granddaughter to school. I came home, I did four loads of laundry,

went to the grocery store, which I haven't done in months, picked up our granddaughter from school and I cooked dinner.
