Good weekend in the studio, working on some of my own pots and then doing something a little bit special.

And I can't tell you how fun it is to try a new clay body or a clay body, go back to a clay body

I went from, you know, like working with my typical clay that I always use to adding another

flavor of clay bodies and it was a trial. I mean, the first two pots I tried to throw did not work. I mean, I would,

you know, you just know how hard you have to pull to bring, to bring a piece up nice and tall.

No, I'd pull them too thin. Didn't even know that I was doing it until it was too late, you know, where you start seeing that that body just not hold its form. It just starts to give way under the weight of the clay up above. Yeah. Did that on two pots. It took, it took three tries to get it right. So, anyhow, that's always fun. So anyhow, it's fun working with the new clay body.
