Summary

Tonight’s guest, Raven Hawk, is a Native American shaman, who has been practicing shamanism her whole life. You’d think that a shaman would believe in Sasquatch, but that didn’t used to be the case with Raven. She didn’t believe they were out there. That is, until she moved into a rustic cabin, in the foothills of the mountains of Idaho. Her disbelief in the existence of Sasquatch was more a function of comfort for her than anything. That’s because the idea that she might run into one when she was outside, late at night, terrified her. Years later, after she had been living there, the Sasquatch in the area made their presence known. At first, she started seeing juveniles. Later, she came to know a male Sasquatch that she came to call “Tahaji.” When she first saw Tahaji, he was small, as far as Sasquatch go. Now, though, his head is about 18 inches across and he’s absolutely huge! It’s funny how time changes things. Raven actually looks forward to seeing him. We hope you’ll listen to her talk about the experiences she’s had with him, as well as the juvenile Sasquatch around her cabin, she calls “the kids.”

0:07.7	Charminism and Native American medicine for most all my life really. If you're
0:15.4	born on that path you have a whole lifetime of strange and unusual
0:22.2	experiences and because I can see both realms at times or I really
0:29.8	kid is a child. Well, I've studied Charminism all my life and when you're on
0:36.4	that path you have paranormal experiences all the time. You see both realms, you
0:41.9	interact with both realms, you are a person that has one foot in each realm and
0:47.7	so on my life I dealt with a paranormal and the big foot came along and I did not
0:57.2	believe they were real and I don't know why. It took me a very long time to
1:03.3	quit denying to myself that big foot might be a possibility. So I move into
1:10.8	this rustic cabin in the foothills of the mountains of North Idaho. It was an
1:17.9	old homestead and it had been abandoned for a while and when they said rustic
1:24.0	it was kind of a joke. It had an outhouse, it had no windows in the cabin, I had
1:32.2	a scrounge for windows and nail a man with 16 penny nails and foam around it
1:38.7	and rip out the carpet and during that time they came to hook up electricity
1:44.7	and the electricity man said that it all had to be rewired so I ended up living
1:50.3	for about five years with no electricity. And so here I am, electricity I think
1:57.0	is a form of security. If you hear something outside you can go turn on your
2:01.0	light, none running around with lanterns and sometimes I would hear noises
2:07.8	at night but I didn't always know what they were. One night I'm in this little cabin
2:14.9	I got a lantern lit and it's been abandoned for a long time and all of a sudden
