Welcome to Storyworthy. My name is Christine Blackburn, and I'm here with Hanna Sfini, and we're coming to you from Waterworld.

1:33.0

That's right, the stage and stunt show at Universal Studios, based on the fine motion picture, Waterworld.

1:39.4

You know, that is so funny.

1:41.2

You should say that.

I cannot believe that exhibit is still up, Waterworld. I mean, it's good. And it's like really a big, huge spectacular, as it were. Famous financial failure. Right. And they're still doing the show 20 years later. That is so incredulous to me. You know, you're preaching to the choir. You know, I was in Hawaii when they were shooting that, and I'm going to go, it was 94. I was in Hawaii on the big island, on the Kona side, and you could see... I'm already lost. It doesn't matter. The point is in Hawaii, you could see the rig off of the island because the idea of water world was that they wanted to create it out in the middle of the island as if they were in the middle of nowhere. I know, but they could have done that without having to shoot out there. So the idea of getting all the shit out there every day by a boat. It was just absurd. Right. And the idea that you couldn't do that in the water off the coast of Los Angeles. Yeah. I mean, what about the B tank over at over at Paramount? Yeah, but that was famously, I believe, the first movie that ever cost $200 million to make. Now that's standard. But it's like, that was like that literally destroyed some executives great. The reason we're coming from Waterworld. Yeah, and I'm really glad that we are coming here. The villain of Waterworld. Dennis Hopper.
