In this episode, I want to talk about an emotion that we've all dealt with to varying degrees,

and that emotion is anxiety. You know, a few years ago, I want to talk about an emotion that we've all dealt with to varying degrees, and that

emotion is anxiety. You know, a few years ago, I was actually preparing to preach on anxiety,

so we posted on some of our social media channels, what makes you anxious? Two things from that

little, you know, informal survey really surprised me. One was just the sheer number of responses.

It was overwhelming. I post things on

social media sometimes and they get, you know, mediocre response, but this one just was like a flood.

The other thing that was surprising was how many different things are people, friends of mine,

were anxious about. These were just some of the most common, being alone. That was the number one

reply. People were anxious about some point in the future or maybe the present.

You know, being alone.

Money.

Obviously, it was a big one.

The future was one.

Being accepted by others are facing rejection.

Going to the doctor was one.

Whether or not I'm truly living out God's purposes for my life.

Losing control was one.

You know, am I going to lose control of my life, my kids, my family, being separated from my family,

being able to find the right spouse, being able to have a child, maybe, you know, something wrong and we can't do that, or losing a spouse or or a child and then failing as a parent was a big
