Good morning, friends and enemies in today's video. We are bringing a guest onto the channel,

0:05.2

Dr. Jesse Morse. Dr. Jesse Morse is a board certified sports medicine physician, and we are

0:11.3

covering all injuries that are related to fantasy football. This will be one of the most valuable

0:15.3

videos that we put out all summer. We'll be talking to Doc about 15 to 20 of the most

0:20.5

fantasy relevant injuries happening

0:22.1

right now in the summer, guys that are recovering from injuries, guys that were injured last season

0:26.0

that might spill over into this season, whether or not you should be targeting them, whether

0:30.0

or not the reports in the hearsay that we're here saying about these people are on track with

0:34.7

what we should be doing in fantasy. For the OGs, you will remember Dr. Jesse Morris from the channel back in the day. For the new Gs, you probably know him from Twitter as a very large following there or from the injury experts YouTube channel. If not, make sure you are following his work, all that stuff that we talk about. We'll be linked down below. If you're looking for a specific player, all the timestamps will be down below as well. We get into a little peptide conversation at the end. For any of y'all that are following the massive trend in what's going on on the Twitter world and in the doctor world right now, just something I was interested in and wanted to talk to him about. So we took 15, 20 minutes out at the end of the video to get into that stuff. If you enjoy the video, make sure you hit the button that looks like this.

1:13.1

Subscribe to the channel if you are new and enjoy the interview.

1:21.3

It's been a long time.

1:23.7

It's been a minute.

1:24.7

Yes, it has.

1:25.6

Doc, we're going to start at the very top of the list with whom most people still consider to be the very best football player on the planet.

1:32.6

You had just released a video about him on your channel, which is linked down below for the viewers out there.

1:39.3

Mr. Patrick Mahomes, he is coming off of a, you know, relatively significant knee injury. This was coming off of

1:45.3

a season in which he was running a lot. It was probably the best rushing total of his career. And that's what

1:49.4

kind of made his fantasy total rise up the ranks per se. But the torn ACL is something that I think

1:54.4

people look at him going into 2026. And it's like, we're still a little bit unsure about his

2:00.0

weapons group right now. So it's like we do kind of need the rushing acumen of Patrick Mahomes right now. Are we going to get it coming off of this injury? Do we expect him to start on pup? Do we think we get a full 17 out of him? How limited will he be? And also, I think it might be helpful, like just from your point of view, as someone who's obviously been in this industry for a long time and someone that I look at as insanely progressive relative to a lot of people out there in the industry and just in general, how is your approach to looking at timelines with athletes and their returns changed over the last few years or over the last decade, half decade with the advancements in technology. Because you and I used to get on these videos often. And I had like a nice timetable in my mind of, you know, how quickly players can get back from a lot of these injuries. Because a lot of stuff that you had taught me, you know, and it kind of cemented in my mind. But I'd imagine like every industry and we're living in a very progressive, you know, time frame right now where technology's rapidly advancing, how do you as someone who covers this stuff for a living, like, decipher when timelines start to change in your mind? Do you need to wait for the literature? Is it hard for you because you're not the one actually like working on these athletes, you know, yourself personally So you don't really know the treatments. Are they using peptides? Are they using this? Are they using like, like, how are they getting back into shape? I guess I'd like to start there before we get into Patrick Mahomes. Yeah, so I am treating some of the guys that you will definitely know we might talk about today. I won't give any insight that I learned from them personally or that I contributed to.

3:24.7

But in general, we have definitely seen an evolution between PMF and red light and peptides,

3:32.8

although they're technically illegal during the season anyway.
