Throughout history, people have invented and named mythological gods. But the God of the Bible was not invented by mankind, and unlike Zeus or Thor, he chose his own name. We have based our study in its entirety on Exodus 34, verses 6 and 7, where God declares his name to

Moses. I have explained to you that this verse, Exodus 34, 6 and 7 was kind of like the Jewish

writers. Moses says to God, God, I want to see your glory. And God says to him, Exodus 33, 19, I will
