We are living in uncertain days.

These are times when people are not sure of much of anything.

Psalm 93, five verses long, is a Psalm of certainty.

It's a Psalm of assurance.

In fact, the end of Psalm 93 says this, thy testimonies are very sure.

What are you very sure of today? What are you certain of? In a world where everything is changing

and so many things are being questioned, are you certain of anything? In a world that says there's no

absolutes, is there

absolute truth? The answer to that is, absolutely. And it's found in the word of God, and it is

found in the God of the Word. Let me read to you the brief Psalm we're studying today. Psalm 93 says,

The Lord reigneth. He is clothed with majesty. The Lord is clothed with strength,

wherewith he hath girded himself. The world also is established that it cannot be moved.

Thy throne is established of old. Thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up,

O Lord. The floods have lifted up their voice, the floods lift up

their waves. The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves

of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure. Holiness, becomeeth thine house, O Lord, forever.

I ask you again, what are you very sure of?

Do you see the context? Do you see the setting? This is a time of uncertainty.

We don't know who the writer of Psalm 93 is. We don't know the setting of Psalm 93.
