Wednesday night we go through the Bible, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book.

We draw our text from our upcoming Wednesdays here on these Sunday mornings.

So it's really Sunday on Wednesdays, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book, right through the Bible.

And we are in the gospel of John.

Would you turn with me to John chapter 15 this morning for our text?

If you want to read ahead for Wednesday night, you can look over John chapter 12, which we'll be covering Wednesday.

And then we'll catch up on Wednesdays here pretty soon to where we're at now.

But the reason we're in chapter 15, of course, if you're just joining us, we've been doing

a series within the through the Bible study, and that is the I am statements of Jesus Christ,

which are powerful, important, they're noteworthy.

Every time Jesus says, I am, you should raise a flag and say, okay, what's he saying? Because he's

connecting himself to the I am of the Old Testament. We've been going over this for the past several

weeks. In Exodus 13, remember when God was speaking to Moses on the Mount of Sinai there with the

burning bush? And Moses is trying to find, well, who do I tell them sent me? You know, what's your name?

Is basically what Moses is asking God.

And God said unto Moses, I am that I am.

And he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I am, hath sent me unto you.

And so this I am, which is where we get our, you know, Y, H.W-H-H, the Tetragrammaton of the Old Testament, the name of God,

which is sometimes pronounced, you know, Yahweh or Jehovah.

But it's that name of God.

Now, you say, well, you are what, God?

I am that I am.
