So this all happened when the subscriber was coming back from school. So normally his mom picked him up, but he got a call or his mom called into school. So his teacher came over and told him, hey man, like, you know, your mom can't pick you up today. You can walk home, though. Here's the thing. The subscriber did not live that far away from home. It was maybe a 15-minute walk. And the walk just went through residential

neighborhoods, nothing too sketchy. It's not like he was going through some like really crazy

part of town. So the subscriber was like, all right, that sounds good enough. So anyways, as the day

is ending up, uh, the subscriber is, you know, about to go on a walk back home. So he gets up and he

checks out with school and he starts walking

the direction of his house. However, if the subscriber was to take a right at this intersection,

he could go over to a convenience store and he could, you know, pick up a few things, a few snacks,

whatever, and, you know, could make his Friday night a little bit nicer. Or he could go left and he could just go home.

This was a crucial decision.

Sometimes in life, you just have decisions where they completely change the course of your day.

And it seems so inconsequential.

If the subscriber decided to go left and go home instead of going right and going to the convenience store quickly, none of this would have happened.

No one would have been after him. There wouldn't have been a whole kidnapping scare and there wouldn't have been a storytime video today.

So yeah, the subscriber chooses to go right and goes to the convenience store. And that's where
