apartment building that was constructed by banks. That will come in handy later. We were in the last

apartment from the top, so there were no apartments above us, just the building's roof. It was the first apartment we lived in before we moved to another one.

Since I was around 16 years old, whenever I asked my mom about the apartments we lived in,

she would always tell me about the paranormal things that happened to us.

For instance, my mom recalls when I was a baby at the stage where I couldn't walk or talk.

On the coldest of nights, she would dress me in the coziest wool clothes, the narrow, necked,

and hard-to-wear kind, and then put me to bed.

But to her surprise, she would find me in the morning, on the

ground, with the wool clothes removed. A baby cannot take those kinds of clothes off by himself.

I even remember when I was in fourth grade, I struggled to wear that kind of wool clothing

and needed help

putting it on and taking it off. This phenomenon continued to happen until my mom bought a necklace

with some religious writings from the Quran on it. It was a verse we believe protects us from

gin. Just after that, all of this stopped. We later moved when we got the money to do so.
