So this week, in honor of April Fool's Day, we are releasing a 24 subscribers-only episode of Hysteria Home Companion, a podcast that I make

with our producer Miranda. This one is about a wildly ambitious and shockingly raucous

April Fool's Day prank that took place in 19th century London, involving hundreds of people

from bakers and undertakers to bankers and politicians. If you enjoy this episode, we just put up a new

allegedly authentic fossils of the missing link, known as the Piltdown Man, changed the course of
