In our study of Acts, one of the things we're gleaning is the book of Acts is kind of like Church 101.

You know, how do you do church?

And I saw a thing fairly recently of a local church that was saying, you know, the Bible's not really a manual on how to do church.

I was like, wow, well, then where do you get your manual?

Because I think that anything other than the Bible is going to be a misguided church.

And not only the Bible in general, but the book of Acts shows the beginnings of the early church,

and we learned so much about what the church should look like.

We saw it landed Wednesday night know, Wednesday night in chapter four

at a real high note. We saw, you know, great power was given to the apostles, and great grace

was given to the church. That's what it says. There in our, you know, verse 35 of chapter four.

And man, the church is just getting blessed out of their socks. But, you know, verse 35 of chapter 4. And man, the church is just getting blessed out of their socks.

But, you know, like the Bible, have you ever noticed you'll be in a happy little story

and then all of a sudden, eh, something really crazy happens?

Well, that's about to happen.

Like, here's an example of that.

You know, when Moses was getting ready to leave the

children of Israel, they had all the years of struggle and slavery. And then the Lord calls Moses,

and Moses finally gets Pharaoh to let the people go through the plagues. And man, everybody's

excited because they're getting ready to go. And you're just this happy, oh wow, they're getting

ready to leave. This is awesome. And then all of a sudden, it says, and God sought to kill Moses.

And then you're like, what's that all about?

And then it says, and Zippora, his wife, walked up, and with a sharp stone, you know, circumcised
