a specially special treat for you today, a new first time co-host on the show, although

someone that you might recognize for our interview about a week ago, Brigitte Todd joins us

for the first time. How's it going, Brigitte? It's going well. I'm still excited to be here.

Very excited to have you here. We're day of news for you to be joining us for, but some important

stories are going to be talking about some abhorrent individuals we're going to be talking about.

So I hope it's stuff that you'll find intriguing. I always find abhorrent individuals intriguing,

for sure. Me too. Well, then you chose a good political system to comment on constantly.

So for people who might not be familiar with you and your work or perhaps your podcasts,

there are no girls on the internet. Tell us a little bit about your work.

Yeah, I am the communications director for Ultraviolet, a leading national gender justice

organization that works to build political and social power for women and non-binary folks.

So definitely check us out at weareultriviolet.org. And I'm also the creator and host of I Heart Radio's

Technology Podcast. There are no girls on the internet where we explore all the interesting

intersections of culture and underrepresented voices and tech and all things geeky.

And so for people who may not get the reference in the title, could you explain why it's called

there are no girls on the internet? Oh, yes. Well, that is one of the founding, you know, rules

of the internet that anybody that you meet on there who says there are a girl is not actually

a girl. And if you are, if you do say that you're a girl, you need to prove that you're a girl in

some way. The title is really kind of an inside joke with myself as someone who loves to be online

who is often experienced people saying, oh, there are no girls on the internet. Yes, there are.
