We went through the same period of uncertainty with our litter robot, which, as you know, has been a huge success except for the cat doesn't want to use the steps.

He just leaps entirely over.

He'll walk up them into the litter robot.

But to get out of the litter robot,

he has decided that the steps and the litter catching apparatus is lava.

And he needs to clear it each time,

throwing litter and shit all over the house,

defeating the purpose of the mad upstairs.
