I mean, if we aren't reconciled to God, we have no other blessings from God.

That's why that's so important.

And that's why I use that again and again as a reference point for hymn writers, songwriters.

Write songs that make the gospel clear and compelling because there are plenty of songs that don't.

You know, they mention the cross, don't say anything about it, what it did, what it accomplished.

It's what it accomplished that's so powerful.

So when it comes to modern hymn writing, I think it's fair to say that you loom large in

that world. I don't know, but... It's not an overstatement to say that you and Sovereign Grace

music, the ministry that you lead, the songwriting, what, record label?

Yeah, no, we're not a label. We call it a collection of songwriters. We're really a ministry of

sovereign grace churches and outgrowth of sovereign grace churches. We write for our churches.

Our mission statement is we produce Christ exalting songs and training for the church,

capital C, from our local churches.

So that's, we're just, we're trying to serve congregational singing. And I would even say

biblical gatherings, both in our denomination, sovereign-garest churches, and in the large body of

Christ, to be a part of what God's doing in that arena. This organization has been pretty instrumental in contributing to helping to bring about
