dangerous Dave Dave Ansel, who in a past life or in a previous naked scientist existence has measured how fat you would have to be to stop a bullet with your beer gut.

Indeed, indeed. I'm hoping no one's getting that fat because it

was involved a meter of fat. Yeah, you'd be dead from cholesterol poisoning a long time

before you actually needed that sort of in built body armor that's entirely true

we also have with us this week Paul Mullins from Bangor University and Paul is an

expert it turns out on the science of shopping hello Paul

Paul's going to be joining us later in the program to discuss how he's been doing research

looking at whether or not we're any good at really spotting a bargain.

Now the reason we're sitting in my kitchen is

because we're going to be doing all kinds of experiments, the chemistry of

Christmas no less, including a giant finale with a hydrogen-powered party popper.

Plus we have with us Professor Colin Humphreys. He's from

the Material Science Department at Cambridge University. He has brought along lots of

gadgets to play with because he makes LEDs. And of course if you hadn't noticed
