And ultimately, the jury believed what she said.

And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and T.J.

And Robs, what she said is that her husband tried to kill her by pushing her off a steep, steep cliff in Hawaii.

Yes, on her birthday, on a hike.

And it wasn't just what she said.

It's what his son said.

And it's also what the pictures showed, what eyewitnesses saw and heard.

There was a, well, we now know, insurmountable amount of evidence against Dr. Gerhard Koenig,

who was found guilty of attempted manslaughter based on extreme mental or emotional disturbance.

He did actually get a split verdict because he was found not guilty on that much more

serious charge of second degree murder. That would have given him mandatory life in prison. So,

yes, he was found guilty, but I guess you could say it could have been worse. Yeah, and this is the case, of course, that has made national headlines. It's been difficult, Robs that we've talked about, maybe for a lot of people in the U.S. to keep an eye on, and maybe it's not getting the headlines that you might expect, because, quite frankly, it's way out there. It's in Hawaii. The time zones are different. What did you tell me the difference was today? They're eight hours behind New York. So, yes, by the time we're all in bed, they're, like, going through, like, the first parts of their court proceedings in the morning. Like, it just is so different. I think that's fair. A lot of this has been missed. But yes, Dr. Gerhardt Connick has now been found guilty.

The jury has said, yes, they do believe her story.

And as he said, she said, which is really robs, a story that was about what happened on this steep cliff, this picturesque hike in Hawaii.

What happened?

He said she attacked him.

She said he attacked her.

Tried to push her off this cliff.
