Athletics, not joined tonight by former LSU running back Jacob Hester. Yes, due to technical

difficulties, let's call it that. This is a solo podcast for yours truly. To specify those

technical difficulties, are I left my recorder in Baton Rouge and am just now getting back to Baton Rouge at 10 o'clock on Saturday night and didn't have any way to record a postgame podcast with me and Hester.

So a lot of you are probably turning your podcasts off right now.

I don't blame you for those who are sticking around.

I appreciate it.

It'll be just me just like last season and the year before.

It's old school hurry up here on Hey Fightin' Podcasts. I want to give myself, excuse me, a little structure here on today's show since I don't have my co-host to just hand the ball off to and let him answer all the hard questions. Then I can stick to the easy stuff. I want to, and I'm going to rip off one of my favorite podcasts, which is, as you all know, I'm an Arsenal

fan, and there's a podcast I listen to called the Arsenal Vision Post-Match podcast,

and in their post-match podcast, they do what they call headlines, stock rising and stock falling.

And so I'm going to do a similar structure here on the on the show today.

And I'll start with a couple of headlines from the game. And the first headline that I have

for Ole Misses 3117 win over LSU is better ideas and better execution.

I think anyone that watched that game could see that LSU got outschemed and outplayed.

Ole Miss had a better idea of what it wanted to do offensively.

It's all offensive parts complemented each other better.

The pass built into the run, the run built into the pass.

Matt Crowell came into this game.

Banged up and questionable, I think we all knew he would play, but it limited what he could do in the running game.
