All right, welcome to a hurry-up edition of Hey Fighting Podcasts from Starkville, Mississippi. LSU wins 2825. We're sitting here as the team is loading up the bus. Another busside podcast, not really a bus side podcast. Not really a bus side. We can hear the buses. We can't see them, though. But we're going to make sure that goal number one today is not to record a great podcast.

It's not to get a bunch of downloads or listens.

It's to not get left.

We're not getting left today.

The goal is to make sure that if everyone starts to really get closer and closer to those buses,

that we don't get stuck in Starkville.

Not that there's anything wrong with Starkville,

but when we have an early game, the one benefit of that is getting back to Baton Rouge as soon as possible. Yeah, it's going to be nice. We're going to be able to get home after a 28, 25 win. We should be home in time for dinner. I'm going to go over to the neighbor's house, have taco night, some margaritas. Celebrate an LSU win. Not a beautiful win for LSU today against Mississippi

State, but a win that you'll, first of all, you'll just take it. You'll just take the win and go

back home and deal with any issues you have to deal with. But I think a win that was probably a little

bit more in LSU's controlled than the final score indicates 208.25 was the final

score LSU was up 2810 in the fourth quarter and then kind of went to an overall strategy that

mirrored what the defense sort of went into the game with and what worked and it's the downside of

the strategy but it was Ben don't break it was keep everything in front of you don't't get beat. Make them, make them, make the

mistake and pounce on it. And that was LSU's defensive strategy. I thought it worked really well for

most of the game. At the end, their state made it interesting. But again, the defensive approach

became the general approach. And it was make them make a mistake they did at the end there,

challenging that onside kick

burning their last time out and basically handing LSU the win so your overall thoughts after the win

on on the game and how LSU played yeah so defensively I'm right there with you Cody I think they played a really good game because that was the game plan
