overall this is our best effort this season but I wasn't surprised of preparation our guys have been

phenomenal we came here Thursday night they had a look in their eye today that that a focus and

of winning and determination and they won as a football team this is a win for a whole organization

for the state of Louisiana and for LSU and for everybody that played in the purple and gold.

But tonight wasn't our final destination. We know that. We don't know where we're going to go.

We don't know who we're going to play.

Wherever they tell us to go and whoever they tell us to play, we'll be ready to go. Hey, Fighting Tigers, fight all the way.

Welcome to another hurry-up edition of Hey Fighten Podcast. This one, an SEC championship edition. That's right, the Tigers won the SEC championship. You know this. You watch the game. You're fired up. I get it. I'm fired up too. We've got a lot to talk about today. Got a lot of postgame audio. I'll be perfectly honest about the post-game audio. Don't know how much

of it's usable. The locker room was a little loud. What they do after these bowl games, these

championship games, is they actually open up the locker room. So they send a couple players to the

podium. Joe Burrow and Derek Stingley went with Coach O for obvious reasons. We'll talk about those

guys and what they did on Saturday against Georgia as LSU be Georgia 3710. We'll talk about

those guys in a second, but the rest of the guys are in the locker room and the locker room's open.

So I can get the post game audio from the podium. They send that out or it's available on an

FTP site. So I didn't even go in there. I just went in the locker room, talked to a bunch of players,

saw a lot of sites, and I don't know how much of it's usable, but there's some good stuff in there.

Richard Lawrence got really fired up toward the end of our conversation. Got some good stuff

from Jacoby Stevens and Grant Delpit about the defense and about their thoughts on LSU being number one. We'll get to all that stuff. I want to start there, though, because to me, that's the storyline coming out of this game. It's what I wrote about after the game. You can read it at LSUports.comnet. I'll link it in the episode description here. The big question now, there's no suspense, right? LSU is obviously in the playoff. They were in the playoff had they lost to Georgia. But they're obviously in the playoff, and the only question is, are they number one or are they number two? I'll be perfectly honest. I did not watch a second of the Ohio State Wisconsin game. I was riding on the bus.

Our bus actually, I was on bus five, which was kind of like none of the team, none of the coaches or anything like that was some of the media group and some of the radio guys and a few others.

And our bus actually got in a very, very minor traffic accident, but it delayed us a little bit.

And I was riding and working and didn't watch a second of that game.
