What is now Hurricane Milton is set to make landfall on Florida's west coast tomorrow.

It's already strengthened to a category 5 storm

doubling its wind speeds in just 48 hours

and making it the strongest storm in the record warm Gulf of Mexico in nearly two decades.

That said, the storm is expected to weaken to a category 3 before slamming into Florida tomorrow,

but forecasters say it could still grow in size and cause destruction over a large area of the state.

It's expected to make landfall anywhere from Cedar Key at the north to Naples at the south,
