Hello I'm Bex and welcome to the Week Junior show.

Today I'm joined by two of the team from the Week Junior,

the magazine making sense of the world for 8 to 14 year olds

we've got associate editor Laura and editorial assistant Elena so loads to cover in

today's episode we're going to be talking about how communities in the US are

recovering from Hurricane Milton, the meaning behind

wrinkles on elephant trunks, and a dance company that's opening up the stage for everyone.

We're also going to be having a big debate about whether autumn is better than spring.

So I've noticed there's a story in this week's issue in the science and technology page

about how artwork makes people more emotional if they see it in person.

So it got me thinking, what is your favorite

piece of artwork? I'm going to go for one of the classics, Vincent van Gogh, Starry Night

Over the Rhone. Now this isn't the classic Starry Night that you might think of. This is a

different version of like a couple next to the river and there are stars. There is

lovely reflections on the river. I've seen it in person and it was really so lovely that I then bought a print of it and it's

now hanging up on my bedroom wall so yeah that's what I'm going for it it did

really move me and I now love Vincent Van Goff Laura how about you?

I also love Vincent Van Gogh and actually my favorite is a

painting called Night Hawks by an American artist called Edward Hopper. I don't know
