A long period of pandemic inflicted solitude. We at the heart have an offering of hope.

The hope is pandemic love in 2021. In honor of that wish, I want to share with you a story

from 2015 made by the amazing Metric Aboli about a kind of pandemic love. It's called Hurricane Boyfriend.

It starts with a preamble by me from five years ago. So you might hear my voice pitch up a bit,

it's just because I'm five years younger in this and have smoked five years less cigarettes.

Allow me to introduce the Mayfly. I am the Mayfly. In German, I'm Tugsphlegia or One Day's Fly.

I live, I love, I die. Hopefully, I lay some eggs too.

The Mayfly lives for no more than a few hours, maybe a few days if it's lucky.
