Summary

It's been about two months of social distancing and face mask wearing, and TBH — this time in quarantine has been filled with a lot of lessons. For #hurdlemoment today, I'm giving you a *me* update: How I'm doing, what I'm doing, where my head's at, and being honest with some of the hurdles I'm facing as the days tick by. My feelings on the absence of physical touch, my thoughts on what life will be like in the post-COVID 19 era, how I'm taking care of my body, and my best advice to anyone else who has been going through this all solo.

soul on fire, which feels like a bold claim when you're constantly putting out content.

But I, over the weekend, made an attempt to get ahead.

It didn't happen.

On Monday, I thought, okay, it's going to be today.

It didn't happen. On Tuesday, I'm sitting at my desk. It's early in the day. I'm like, I'm going to work on this early. I'm not going to be doing this on Tuesday night. And after hitting a little bit of writer's block, so to speak, or podcasters block, I decided that I would go for a walk. And on this walk, all of the good ideas would come to me and I would know exactly what I wanted to talk to you about this week.

1:19.1

Well, that didn't happen. What did happen is I ended up buying some paper towels, which I needed

1:24.6

desperately as well as a small nail polish and listened to an

1:28.0

episode of How I Built This featuring the founder of Impossible Foods. And now I'm back here.

And so I was reflecting on this experience with a friend of mine. Some of you may know her,

1:41.7

Allie Feller, host of the Alley on the Run show. I have had her on the show

before as well. And I'll link to her episode in the show notes. But she said to me, isn't that

1:52.4

the episode? Don't you think that maybe it's time for a little bit of a check-in? And you know what,

1:58.4

Allie? You are correct. So here I am. I'm giving you the rundown of where

2:05.3

I'm at, how I've been occupying my time, how my days look different than maybe they used to,

2:11.2

how I feel about all this stuff that's going on, how we feel about doing this alone, what my

workouts look like, kind of answering

what I think might be a lot of the questions that have been coming through in my direct messages
