Summary
Whether you've never been hunting before, new to the pursuit, or a seasoned veteran, it's hard to deny that hunting is in our blood. We, as a species have been hunting for hundreds of thousands of years and it hasn't been until relatively recently that the art and science of hunting have come under so much scrutiny.
That's why I'm extremely excited to introduce you to my guest today, Robbie Kroger and his project, Blood Origins. We talk about the importance of hunting, its positive effects on the environment and conservation efforts, why there tends to be such a polarization around the topic of hunting, both Robbie and I journey into the world of hunting, and how, whether you like it or not, hunting is in our blood.

ROBBIE KROGER
My guest today is Dr. Robbie Kroger, a biologist who currently holds a position as the science coordinator for the Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council. He is also a professor at Mississippi State University in the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Aquaculture.
Outside of that, he founded a movement called Blood Origins which is aimed at sharing the "why" and "who" behind hunting. Where most hunting shows focus on the sport and the ultimate kill, Robbie set out to learn and understand who hunters are and why they do it.
He's got some absolutely incredible films that document these stories and are share a side of hunting you may have never seen. Enjoy the conversation.
IRON COUNCIL
As of the release of this podcast, it's New Year's Eve and you're likely thinking about what you want to do differently in 2020. That's noble. You should be thinking about what the new year will hold.
But, unless you're willing to do something about it and tap into a new way of thinking/operating, it's likely that you're going to fall into the same patterns as you always have.
That is exactly why the Iron Council can be so powerful. Hundreds of men have banded with us and used the tools, framework, and accountability to lose weight, salvage relationships, get married, get strong, secure promotions, start a new business, and develop self-confidence through action.
Whatever your objective is for the new year, we'll help you codify the process of making it a reality. Join us inside the Iron Council at www.orderofman.com/ironcouncil.
