Alright, it's the new year of 2022 and I can assure you that this podcast is going to put a smile on your face.

0:46.0

I know every year has its ups and downs, its points of friction and pain and whatever,

0:55.0

but I'm specifically going out of my way to start 2022 by doing a podcast with a guy Tim Hepworth,

1:03.0

who him and his daughter, Ren, run the most enjoyable social media channel in all of the outdoors.

1:12.0

And Tim is joining me and we're going to talk about how he does this, what kind of his drill is for the way it happens

1:23.0

and whether it's meant to be that way or just how life is.

1:29.0

And I think you're going to find someone with a super positive outlook, someone who was focused on how do you get young people into the outdoors,

1:38.0

make it a lasting part of their lives, and in the process create some of the most special memories you could ever have.

1:46.0

And he is committed to wherever appropriate and wherever comfortable, sharing those experiences with us.

1:56.0

And in some way shape or form, putting them on his Instagram channel, like I said, went appropriate and when he's comfortable with it, to the benefit of all of us.

2:07.0

And I don't know if he'll let us do this, but if we don't put the audio portion of some of the videos with Ren when the Big Buck got away,

2:20.0

at least do yourself a favor of go out there to Tim and Ren on Instagram and find those two videos.

2:28.0

You'll see them, I'm sure you saw them shared throughout the hunting world somewhere along the way because they are so funny and so sweet, so genuine.

2:39.0

But the bigger idea is how social media can be a positive force if done properly, how we can be a positive force and just, you know,

2:53.0

making other people have a better day, giving them a reason to smile and sharing our outdoor experiences in a way that does that.

3:02.0

So I think you'll enjoy this one.

3:05.0

Tim and I have had the benefit now of sharing lots of communication over the last couple of years and we've talked about doing a podcast and finally we're able to connect and let it happen.

3:19.0

So I hope you enjoy it. But we want to make sure that we talk about all the great folks, great companies that make this possible.

3:26.0

Loophole.optics. Go to loophole.com, check out all their new stuff for 2022. I hope you'll consider them.

3:34.0

They certainly are big supporters of the outdoors, hunting, shooting, conservation, public lands, access, all the things we love.
