Some hunters, maybe the purest, simplest, most direct hunters couldn't care less about their

rifle, cartridge, and bullet. as long as they're killing stuff cleanly.

On the other hand, there's a bunch of us that are, well, we can call ourselves whatever

you want, bullet nerds, cartridge geeks, they all apply and I wear those

terms with pride. Today I want to talk about authority versus precision in

cartridges and to a lesser extent as it applies to bullets.

Really this is that discussion between using a bigger hammer, see if've always got enough to get the job done, or a more

precise scalpel and focusing on precision.
