I've been warning you all along at the CDC was going to get addicted to all the power and influence that it's had.

This is an institution this is an organization of the federal government that has been largely resigned to putting out flu advisory notices you know once a while they'll be in Ebola scare or there'll be a hunt of virus outbreak somewhere and they'll call some of the CDC for comment on the news.

But generally speaking the CDC was something that you mostly knew about because in zombie apocalypse movies or in some you know some some sci fi thriller the CDC would make an appearance right I like the show the strain for example on the hero is a CDC scientist.

It's actually good show I think it holds up pretty well for what it is but now we see that just like all the other federal bureaucracies the CDC is involved in not just partisan politics but in progressive politics in Marxist identity politics.

And it doesn't want to step away as the COVID pandemic slowly fades it's going to be a long painful extrication from the overlords that we have now at the CDC telling us what we can do where we can shop.

Whether we can go and breathe fresh air outside without some smelly rag across our face right that that's not going to be an easy process in and of itself but the CDC wants to be involved in the national conversation that's why they have reshaw well and ski as the director now this is somebody who is a progressive and a leftist.

whole panoply of transgender rights even the ones that are being created as I'm still sitting here speaking to you I'm sure she believes in giving puberty blocking drugs to 10 year olds who think that there are different gender than they are whatever maybe find a left wing issue and the head of the CDC and I'm sure all the people around or two because these are science bureaucrats

who do you think goes to work for the CDC people that are really going to cure cancer or people who want to be working in the government.
