But one thing always became clear.

Your concept of a solution depends entirely on what you think the problem is.

Take the public health challenge of obesity, for example.

Over 40% of Americans are obese.

And obesity is a critical predictor of diabetes and heart disease.

There's a cruel irony to obesity.

In theory, it's a problem of plenty.

Go back 100 years, and it was a disease of the rich.

The poor in those times simply couldn't afford enough calories and usually worked physical

labor that would tax what little calories they could afford.
