Turn with me, please, this evening, the 1st Corinthians, the 12th chapter.

We began a couple of weeks ago talking about being hungry for the Holy Spirit and being hungry for the things of the Spirit.

And I think we're on the right track. I believe it's of the Spirit. And I think we're on the right track.

I believe it's of the Lord.

That we be on this and that we think about this and feed on this and our faith grow in this.

And that we just get stirred up about the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit.

First Corinthians 12, verse 31.

He said, but covet earnestly the best or the Greek, another word, is greater gifts, and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.

The good news says, set your hearts then on the more important gifts or the greater gifts.

The weist says, be constantly zealous after the greater spiritual

gifts and yet i point out a super excellent way what is the super excellent way

the love way that's another way of saying the God way, because God is love.

Usually when you see the word covet, which has to do with the idea of strongly desiring something,

usually in the Bible, when you see the word covet, it's talking about coveting something you shouldn't be

and negatively telling you don't covet.

Like, for instance, you know, even back in the law,

it said don't covet your neighbor's wife

or your neighbor's donkey or your neighbor's house

or anything that your neighbors.

Well,

I understand love would be if they've got a wonderful wife,

love would be glad that they have a wonderful wife.
