excuse me, 12th chapter, 1 Corinthians 12.

We've been on the subject of being hungry for the Holy Spirit.

Somebody say hungry. Hungry for the Holy Spirit. Somebody say hungry.

Hungry for the Holy Spirit.

First Corinthians, 12th chapter and the 31st verse.

1 Corinthians 12, 31 31 says but covet earnestly the best gifts get show i unto you a more

excellent way covet earnestly the best gifts what the Lord tell us to do?

Covet earnestly.

The best gifts, what we're talking before?

If he said, ask, what should you do?

You should ask.

And not play games with him, just do what he said.

What did he say on this?

Covet earnestly. Nowvet, earnestly.

Now that's strong words.

You know, he could have used any number.

He could have said, you know, desire.

But he said, covet and use the word earnestly.

So many times when you see the word covet in scripture is telling you don't.

Don't covet your neighbor's spouse or donkey or house or don't covet somebody else's stuff.

But here he says do covet this., covet has to do with a strong desire, a consuming desire, a longing for.
