And this week, Matthew Haltiman, who is a professor of philosophy at Calvin University,

and the author of the just-released book, Hungry Beautiful Animals, The Joyful Case for Going

Vegan, will be joining me. It is a super cool conversation, and I'm just so happy that this book

is out there, and I know it just came out. So you were not able to join us for the interview,

but it was a flock Friday event. So we did have some

flock members there, which was also really fun. Yeah, I was really disappointed that something

came up and I just had to miss this interview, which was really, really unfortunate. So this is

our first conversation that we are having since the election results.

And we were on last week, but we had recorded it before the election.

And so, yeah, we're just going to talk a little bit about some election-related things before

we get to the interview.

And let's start off with your Slack,

I mean, Slack, substack. I hardly have a vocabulary anymore for all of the different

platforms that we use to communicate with each other. I know. I hate them all. Yeah, well,

I just point that's for Blue Sky. I mean, that's not a platform to communicate. It's like a social media app. But just one more thing, you know? Yeah. Trying to get off Twitter. Yeah, well. Not off yet, but you know, I'm thinking of getting off of Twitter and going to some place a little bit more civilized. But yeah, then there's there's slack and then there's the recording.

I get so confused.

We use teams at WXXI too, which is sort of really smart.

But substack is definitely my favorite one of all of them.

And so you and I have a substack, which you have been much better at keeping on top of than me.
