So, let's be friends, as we preview the Hungarian Grand Prix. And that is coming up

this weekend. There is once again rain forecast hovering over the circuit which used to fill us

with joy but now fills us with dread. But I don't imagine it will quite be the same situation as Spa. I'd imagine they'd be

a little bit more forthcoming with getting the racing action going, especially into turn one,

turn two with big runoff. Everyone calls this Monaco without the walls, which drives me crazy,

because it's the walls at Monaco that make Monaco impossible. I got an email and apologies because I can't quite look up who it was, but I got an email from someone saying, why don't they get rid of the new volcano? New York Chican at Monaco. So you come through the tunnel, there's a chicanne. Why not get rid of it? So there's racing down to the bottom end. And that's because there's a big wall at the bottom end. If there was no wall, that would be great.

And there'd be places to race.

There'd be lots of opportunities at Monaco for people to try and overtake if there was runoff.

But I think no, Hungaro Ring does not fall into that category.

It is somewhere where people can go racing. So to preview that with me

is Matt To Rumpets. Hello, Matthew. Hello there, Spanters. This is really one of my favorite

tracks because it on its face should be absolutely terrible for Formula One. And yet somehow

we almost always get interesting races, even if it's not

directly the track. I've been getting bit by this, though, because some of these tracks I love

out of nostalgia. So, you know, Spa has had a few ropey weekends over the last few years, but every

time we come up to a Belgian Grand Prix, I'm always, ah, Spars, the greatest track on it.

You just wait. It's going to be amazing. And Hungara Ring is like one of those for me, because there have really been some classic races in Hungary, whether it be in the wet or in the dry. I just feel like me saying that, it has now cursed it and we're going to have a horrible weekend. Ah, yeah, you've manifested the dull race that you can get at the Hungara Ring from time to time.
