We need to have trusted sources, who can say,

hey, Shane, I'm seeing you do this thing,

and you're really jumping through this gigantic hoop here.

Maybe you shouldn't, and you can kind of help them see it as well.

But when they do, that's where that next piece of reducing your defensiveness,

because our first thought and our first response is,

no, I'm not, but I'm just right.

And so developing those trusted sources

and making sure that we're taming our own defensiveness,

that's going to be key to helping us have a more accurate view and engagement with the world.

Are we yes? Where are we here?

Why are we here not entirely clear?

We are misfits, thrust into existence,

by random chance, with no hints at all,

as to how we're supposed to make sense of it all.

It's immensely bizarre.
