| 0:36.6 | Okay, so one thing I see a lot of as a culture, or at least US culture, is that |
| 0:46.2 | there can be a praising of humility. I know that might seem like a strange |
| 0:51.7 | thing to say within US culture because it is also very individualistic and |
| 0:57.2 | probably the rest of the world is laughing at me saying that we might praise |
| 1:02.2 | humility. But I do still see it where in the online space and in person people |
| 1:08.3 | tend to hold up folks who are humble. And this is also true if not more true in |
| 1:14.8 | many other countries around the world. However, what I'm also seeing that |
| 1:20.9 | comes across to me as a concerning phenomenon when it comes to people |
| 1:26.8 | stepping into their full expression in the world is that we tend to |
| 1:31.7 | conflate humility and not taking up space. I'll say that again we tend to |
| 1:40.1 | conflate humility and not taking up space. So humility we could view as the |
| 1:50.0 | recognition that we are not better than another person on a deep let's say |
| 1:56.3 | spiritual level. We might be better talent wise at something or another. But in |
| 2:01.7 | terms of being worth more than another person, we recognize that we all come |
| 2:07.0 | into this world with the same worth we're all humans. And from that understanding |
| 2:12.6 | we take a certain relationship to other people the world around us how we relate |
| 2:18.1 | to one another. That however is different than fearing being seen, fearing |
