Tara, and we are diving into a conversation all about humility today, what it looks like to find

peace in God. And let me tell you, even just

the word humility can sometimes get us a little bit on our toes. And so before we even start

the conversation, I want to put you at ease. And I want to have maybe a countercultural

conversation on what it looks like to find humility in Jesus Christ today. And I have a really fun friend

on the podcast to help me do just that. We have Dr. Joel Muda Malay on the show today.

Joel, thank you so much for being here. Thank you for bringing your wisdom. I have to share a

fun little story before we introduce you and get into the conversation. So Joel and I met at

She Speaks in 2024. And it was

really funny because I knew about you, Joel, of course, because you're on staff with Proverbs 31.

And like I knew of you. We have a lot of mutual friends online. And I remember, so it was the first,

it was the morning that I was going to speak at because we were both speaking at the conference and like I totally knew who you were. And yet we both sat down on the round table,

you know, to go over all the like the sound and like the schedule for the day. And like,

we just sat next to each other. And our first conversation was about coffee because I think I was

dragging and you had a cup of coffee. And I'm like, where did you get that? Because it looked different than the coffee they had at the conference. No shade, but I'm like, I need a good cup of coffee. And so we had a whole

conversation on like where to get the best coffee. And then we started talking about how like

you and my husband are both like coffee aficionados. Like it just like went to a level,

this coffee level. And I just thought that was really funny. And I remember saying, oh yeah, by the way, hi, I'm Tara. Like it was, it was great. So I will never forget that interaction. And it was really fun to get to hang out with you all weekend and now to have you on the show just months later. So all that being said, besides the fact that you are a big coffee lover, can you

introduce yourself to those listening to share a little bit about who you are, what you do,

and a favorite thing besides coffee, unless it's coffee, because we're cool with that too.
