He speaks to them always about the sin of hypocrisy and pride.

He unmasks their evil intentions toward Him, and yet there is a mercy in what He says because

it is also a call for them to repent, being unmasked if they can only see the truth of

who they are, they can turn and come to Him and enter the kingdom.

Well, Jesus experienced something similar during his earthly ministry.

He was invited to a meal with some of the most powerful influencers in Israel, the Pharisees,
