and most of our conversations seem pretty sci-fi.

But this week, there was news that this Chinese scientist says he's

genetically engineered two human babies.

Is this the beginning of the end?

I feel like, you know, in cartoons where their legs are moving so fast

that the head hasn't caught up.

That's how I feel about all of this right now.

I did not expect to see a crisper baby this year,

but maybe I should have because the whole deal with crisper

is how cheap and easy it makes gene editing.
