so directionally challenged. We thought we'd have it all figured out by the time we were

in our 30s, but surprise, we don't. And that's okay. It really is okay. And we tell all

kinds of stories here on this podcast and some are funny and some are uncomfortable and some

are hurt-wrenching. And today we're going to talk about storytelling and a specific story that

involves all of that. My guest today, Ray Serreto and Kelly Scott founded a production company called

Honeypot Productions in 2020. And they have a new documentary out called Seeking Asylum. And what

is great about Honeypot Productions is they prioritize hiring female identified crew and staff

from diverse backgrounds. They foster conversations of understanding compassion and growth in our

world through visually stunning and character driven narratives. I was lucky enough to see their

first feature length documentary Seeking Asylum following a family across the US-Mexico border

and their entire journey trying to seek asylum here in the United States. My conversation with

them is so compelling and they are such incredible individuals. I'm really excited to share with

company Honeypot Productions focuses on fostering conversations of understanding through character-driven

narratives. And I happen to be lucky enough to attend one of the screenings of your very first

feature length documentary titled Seeking Asylum here in Los Angeles. And I immediately knew I had
