Ahead of the autopsy report, the attorney representing the laundry family had initially scheduled the news conference for midday today.

But after speaking with the FBI late yesterday, he abruptly canceled that news conference.

Attorney Steven Burdolino tells The New York Post he determined that a news conference would not be in his clients best interest.

So not much of an update today on the Gabby Petito story. My update is that it's the lead story on Good Morning America.

And it was the lead story on Brett Bears special report on Fox yesterday afternoon.

That surprised me. I actually groaned a bit on television.

But they must be getting response that leads them to believe that's what their viewers want.
