Now on this week's show, we'll be finding out how a

laser is helping scientists to kill just bugs and viruses but without

harming human cells and they think that might help them to sterilize

donated blood products like blood transfusions. Also the

nano radio. Scientists have made the world's smallest radio

receiver. It's the size of a carbon nanotube and that means it's less than a

hundredth of the diameter of a human hair. And also how a flower which is growing high up in the Alps

could hold the key to a new way to make better sun creams that's all on the way.

Also this week we are in search of the Garden of Eden we're going to be talking

about where did we come from. We've got

Professor Chris Turney coming on the show. He's the only man who can claim to have dated a

Hobbit. Not in the romantic sense though, unfortunately. He'll be talking about the origins of modern

humans and where we came from we've also going to be getting to the bottom of how the

English channel formed and cut us off from those pesky French and Jenny Collier is

here to tell us how it all happened and for those of you with a

fire fetish we're going to be hearing the evidence for man's first use of fire and

it's actually a lot further back in time than you might think.
