you might even call him well the greatest showman of his generation.

I'm talking, of course, about Hugh Jackman. Jackman shot to international fame as the mutant superhero Wolverine in the 2000 comic book film adaptation X-Men

returning to that character eight more times over the next 17 years. No actor

has played the same superhero character in more films or over as long a time span.

Remarkably, Jackman has been hugely prolific outside of that franchise as well,

and the vast majority of what he has touched has been well received.

He has starred in not just dozens of films spanning the spectrum of genres, but also four Broadway

productions, one a musical, two plays, and a special concert as well, which led the New York Times to call him, quote, the most adored performer on Broadway, close quote, and to write, quote,
