Today I'm joined once again by my friend Hugh Hewitt, host of the Hugh Hewitt show, which is on 6 to 9 a.m.

He's an award-winning broadcaster, attorney and graduate of Harvard,

which we have spoken about in the past. He spent six years in the Reagan administration and was also a former editorial assistant to Richard Nixon in his retirement. So beyond being a journalist,

he's also a presidential historian, and he joins me this afternoon

as there are fires blazing across a huge swath of California about an hour from his home.
