It's another pattern day.

I'm Chris, that's Pat. I'm joining you on a Monday on the Menace to Sports Network, I believe, because we have, I believe, three or more shows making us a network. I've got a lot that I want to dig into today. Obviously, like, spring football is over for everybody. And you're kind of seeing some of the media reactions from certain spring programs. I do want to talk a lot about Michigan because I am seeing a tone shift and how Michigan talks about the quarterback that I think is really intriguing. Obviously, I want to give grades out for Indiana. Honestly, just do kind of a, not a generational, but a general vibe check in terms of like across college football. Because, I mean, right now is where you're going to get the quiet and then things are going to uptick and you've got to kind of like be on look out for leaks, you know, what you hear here, there. Some positive news kind of in the spring ethos and that I'm really excited about is normally during the spring, you get a lot of like injury news across college football. This spring in particular, I want to give flowers to all the transitioning staff.

And maybe it's because spring games, they don't go as hard.

But really, no major injuries this spring.

No, and I think that's definitely, like you said, a big component of the change and shift that we've seen in spring games the last few years, almost, you know, it's a spring practice

now, right? It's not even a spring game anymore years almost you know it's a spring practice now right

it's not even a spring game anymore so um i think that's a big part of it um but yeah you're right

no real major injury so far now again we still have you know a couple months of practice yeah no but

i'm seeing usually yeah you're about these injuries during the spring and it always like is a big bummer i

just want to you know give i mean that's one of the positives, I guess, to,

one of the positives for not having such a, uh, an intense spring, I guess physically is that

there are no injuries.

And also like, you know, I thought that we had a shot to get back to an intense spring this time.

Okay.

Because the, because there's no portal.

Yeah, there's no portal window.

That's true.

But it's not, it didn't go like that at all.

And so I wonder if we'll never, ever go back to a super intense spring because of how much money these athletes are being paid.

Yeah, it's like why risk it, right? You're already investing so much in these guys.

Why risk, you know, going hard in spring when you still have so much months of training before

the season even starts? And yeah, when you're paying these guys millions of dollars,
